Staying in a Yurt is a great way to experience all the joys of camping and getting back to nature without compromising on comfort. Experience "living in the round" and living in the wilds in our private ecocamp. The camp is run on ecological principles with composting toilets, wood burning stoves and low impact "buildings". The mission of the business is to promote low impact tourism, natural living and generate creative ideas around sustainable lifestyle, personal transformation and community living. As well as offering unique accommodation, we host courses, creative workshops, retreats and outdoor sports immersion holidays.Also come and stay in our brand new hand made Shepherds Hut. The hut is located by the river near the yurts with amazing views of Ben Nevis. It is fully insulated and has a wood burning stove, table and chairs, lanterns, double bed and balcony. The hut sleeps 2 people and is perfect for a couples retreat.The hut has its own picnic table and BBQ right outside. The first basket of wood is provided after which you can buy bags of briquettes at the yurt camp.Please bring your own charcoal for the BBQ.
Shepherds Hut
Come and stay in our brand new hand made Shepherds Hut. The hut is
located by the river near the yurts with amazing views of Ben Nevis. It
is fully insulated and has a wood burning stove, table and chairs,
lanterns, double bed and balcony. The hut sleeps 2 people and is perfect
for a couples retreat.
The hut has its own picnic table and BBQ right outside. The first
basket of wood is provided after which you can buy bags of briquettes at
the yurt camp.

Fishermans Retreat and Woodland Retreat.
These wooden cabins have stunning farm views and beautiful
walks where horses, sheep and highland cows roam across the hills and
woodlands. They have an open plan living room / kitchen area with a
woodburning stove for cosy evenings in and large windows leading out
onto a balcony and garden area for alfresco dining with a pot bellied
stove. Fishing can be arranged at the farm house and there is two ponds
with a good stock of trout just a hundred meters away.
The cabins sleeps 4 people in a double and a twin room. There is a bath and electric shower.

- Towels are not provided
- Your first basket of wood is provided but thereafter please bring or buy your own logs from the BP garage.
We have a purpose built communal kitchen area handcrafted from trees
grown on our farm. The kitchen has a cooking area, a dining table and a
cosy sofa space where you can gather round the chimnea and keep warm on
cold nights. There are gas rings to cook on, a toaster, fridges, a BBQ,
pots, pans, cutlery, mugs, lanterns and an electric point where you can
charge your phone. You can also BBQ open air on our central firepit or
have a bonfire under the stars. Firewood can be collected from the woods
behind the yurts. There is a shower and toilet block with plenty of hot
water.
