Expert tuition is available every day to novices and children who wish to try this sport (no age restriction) Fishing tackle for sale or hire and group or club outings are welcome.

Try your hand at fishing The "Mither Tap" - an 8 acre Loch brim full of 3 - 20lbs Rainbow Trout. Whether you are fishing the dry fly or pulling a lure, novice or expert alike are sure to enjoy the surroundings and the challenge of landing our prize winning tagged trout! 

Our  "Bennachie" 3 acre Loch contains 2 - 8lbs Rainbow Trout.  It's ideal for groups, parties and younger children. All bait catches must be kept and paid for.

The range of activities at Lochter are so extensive that you will need more than one visit to get through them all. In fact, once you have been to Lochter, you will return again and again!

Your health and safety is important to us and we take health and safety very seriously at Lochter. Our fully qualified instructors will give a full safety briefing before each activity and provide all the necessary safety equipment to make sure you have a fun but above all safe day out. Risk Assessments are available on request.
